Painting at Jittery Joe’s Patio

• A preliminary painting for my larger piece Jittery Joe’s patio.
• I’ve begun to use a sheet 8.5”x5.5” which has the same proportions as the 15”x11” (1/4) sheet I will eventually use for the final painting.
• Another thing I am working on is using my water brushes, a tool I am finding more and more useful especially working plein air.
• The purpose of these preliminary paintings is to focus on certain aspects of the scene in order to determine technique and approach.
