A watercolor cityscape of the west end of Baxter Hill
- The day started off foggy and cool and when I got out to do this watercolor it was still hazy even though the fog had burned off.
- The wind picked up; then the sun began to break through and the light reveled as it shuffled across the scene.

As the light changed I tried some lifting in a few areas, something I have not done a great deal of in the past because it so radically changes the surface of the paper. I definitely think that with lifting less is more or to quote Howard Bay, “Eh, enough is enough.”

This is a marvelous painting.
Thanks again!
